About USF SAFE

USF SAFE is the official campus safety app for University of South Florida students, faculty, and staff. Developed in partnership with USFPD, USF Emergency Management, and Information Technologies, this app integrates directly with the university's safety and security systems to keep you informed and protected on campus.

Mobile Bluelight lets you send your real-time location to campus security during a crisis, ensuring help arrives fast. If you need someone to know where you are during your commute, Friend Walk allows you to share your location with a trusted contact who can monitor your journey home in real-time. Both features work seamlessly when you need support most.

Stay informed through instant safety notifications and emergency instructions sent directly to your phone when incidents occur on campus. The app's Emergency Contacts feature gives you quick access to the right services—whether you need USFPD, emergency responders, or a non-emergency line. Tip Reporting lets you report safety or security concerns directly to university security through multiple channels, giving you a voice in campus safety.

Preparedness matters. The Emergency Plans section walks you through what to do in various crisis situations, so you're ready before an emergency happens. All campus safety resources are gathered in one convenient location, eliminating the need to search for phone numbers, procedures, or contact information when seconds count.

Download USF SAFE today to ensure you have the tools and information needed to stay safe on the University of South Florida campus.
